The mailing list is a mechanism to broadcast news, information and SMALL (please!) attachments or digitized photos amongst subscribers. Replies to messages will go to everyone on the list. This page details the procedures to follow to use this handy automated application on our web server to send messages to everyone or add or remove your own or someone else's email from the list.

To send a message to everybody on the list, you must first be subscribed, or on the list. (If you have received any mail from the list, you are already a subscriber and were perhaps suscribed by someone else.) Simply address your email to moyers@hamlinfarm.com and send it. The computer does the rest and sends everybody a copy!



To add yourself to the list, send an email to majordomo@hamlinfarm.com with a message

subscribe moyers

You will very soon receive a confirmation message similar to this:

Someone (possibly you) has requested that your email address be added to or deleted from the mailing list "moyers@hamlinfarm.com".

If you really want this action to be taken, please send the following commands (exactly as shown) back to "Majordomo@hamlinfarm.com":

auth 90cf4d7f subscribe moyers michael@hamlinfarm.com

(This mechanism is just to prevent faulty email addresses from being added.) Reply to this message, returning only the "auth" line by itself and you will be confirmed and added to the list. You then will be able to send and receive messages.

To remove yourself or remove an old address to add a new one, send the message

You may add or remove others by placing their email at the end of the line:
